The NLU Online Learners Community is a centralized hub designed to connect, support, and empower students who are completing their degrees in an online or asynchronous format. The community provides access to essential university resources, engagement opportunities, and peer-to-peer connections that enrich the online learning experience. Through this virtual space, students can connect with faculty, advisors, and one another; participate in virtual events; share experiences; and celebrate their academic and professional accomplishments. To foster belonging, engagement, and success among NLU’s online learners by creating an inclusive, accessible community that supports academic achievement, professional growth, and lifelong learning. Build Connection: Create a sense of belonging for students who learn at a distance by providing opportunities for interaction, collaboration, and mutual support. Enhance Engagement: Offer relevant events, discussions, and resources that help online learners stay connected to NLU’s academic and co-curricular life. Support Student Success: Promote awareness of academic support services, advising, Credit for Prior Learning (CPL) opportunities, and career resources.
