Join the NLU Student Wellness team during Black Heritage Month for an event all about elevating Black voices in the mental health world. Black Minds Matter centers the mental health of Black students and challenges the silence and stigma that often surround it. This event creates space to talk openly about stress, burnout, identity, and healing — while reminding us that prioritizing mental health is an act of self-preservation, resistance, and self-love.

Facilitated by Robert Lloyd, LPC, from Skylight Counseling Center and Travis Morgan, from NLU Student Affairs, we look forward to a low key, good vibes, open and honest conversation about the challenges our Black students face when dealing with their mental health.

Food will be provided.
